How to use it
- Enter birth date and on date.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Age on a planet = days since birth ÷ the planet's sidereal orbital period in days (NASA data, e.g. Mars 686.980 days).
Example
Inputs: Birth date = 2000-01-01, On date = 2026-09-30. Result: Days lived: 9,769 days; Age on Mercury: 111.05 years; Age on Venus: 43.48 years.
Limits and caveats
- Uses each planet's sidereal orbital period and ignores the hour of birth and time zones.
- A planet year is one orbit of the Sun, not a count of that planet's days.
Questions about this tool
Why am I so much older on Mercury?
Mercury orbits the Sun in only about 88 days, so more of its years pass.
How long is a year on Mars?
About 687 Earth days, roughly 1.88 Earth years.
Is Pluto included?
No. The tool shows the eight planets, since Pluto is classed as a dwarf planet.
