Rotate PDF pages
Fix upside-down pages or sideways scans. Choose all pages or some of them, turn them right, left or 180 degrees, and check the new orientation on the thumbnails before you export. When you rotate a PDF here the page content is not redrawn, so text and images keep their quality, and everything runs in your browser.

Processing and privacy: Your files are processed inside your browser and are not uploaded to any server.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF file. Its pages appear as thumbnails, with a progress bar while they render.
- Pick “All pages”, or pick “Selected pages” and select pages by clicking, with the keyboard, or by typing numbers such as 1-3, 5.
- Press “Right 90°”, “Left 90°” or “180°”. Thumbnails turn at once and a summary lists pages and angles. Pressing 90° twice gives 180°.
- Press “Download rotated PDF”. Your original file stays as it is.
Example
A 3-page file with no rotation: select page 2 and press “Right 90°” twice; it shows +180°. In the exported file the rotation value is 0 for page 1, 180 for page 2 and 0 for page 3. If a page was already rotated by 90 and you add 90, it becomes 180.
Limits and caveats
- Right angles only: 90, 180 and 270 degrees. The tool does not do angles such as 45 degrees and does not deskew scanned pages.
- The turn is added to the page’s existing rotation value (/Rotate) instead of replacing it, then normalized to 0-359. Page content is not redrawn and its quality does not change.
- Tested limits: one file up to 100 MB and 500 pages. Rendering thumbnails of a large file takes time.
- Password-protected or encrypted files are refused. The tool does not bypass protection.
- Saving the file again invalidates any digital signature in it. The tool warns you when it detects one.
- The angle is stored as the page rotation value and the content is not rearranged, so the page box recorded in the file (MediaBox) stays the same and viewers display it rotated.
Questions about this tool
What is the difference between “Right 90°” and “Left 90°”?
“Right” turns the page 90 degrees clockwise. “Left” turns it counter-clockwise, which is the same as 270 degrees clockwise.
My file already has rotated pages. Is that lost?
No. The tool reads each page’s current rotation value and adds your angle to it. A page at 90 plus 270 goes back to 0.
Can I rotate different pages by different angles in one go?
Yes. Select one group and rotate it, then change the selection and rotate another group by a different angle. The summary lists every angle with its pages before you download.
How do I rotate a PDF and save it?
Choose the file, pick “All pages” or select specific pages, press “Right 90°”, “Left 90°” or “180°”, then “Download rotated PDF”. The new orientation is stored in the file itself, so it shows correctly in any PDF reader.
How do I rotate only one page of a PDF?
Pick “Selected pages”, click the page you need or type its number, then press a rotate button: only that page turns and the others stay as they are. The summary lists the page and its angle before you download.
