Reorder PDF pages
Fix the page order of a catalog, a contract or a scanned file. Every page is shown as a real thumbnail of your file; move it to the right place and export a new file. It is a simple way to organize PDF pages without installing anything or uploading the file.

Processing and privacy: Your files are processed inside your browser and are not uploaded to any server.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF file. Thumbnails appear progressively, with a progress bar that counts rendered pages.
- Move a page with the four buttons under it: to start, one step earlier, one step later, to end. You can also drag a page with the mouse and drop it on another page.
- Check the “New order” line under the thumbnails. The number in the badge is the position in the exported file.
- Press “Download in new order”. Your original file stays as it is.
Example
A 3-page file (1, 2, 3): press “Move page 3 to start” and the order becomes 3, 1, 2. The exported file has the same three pages, starting with what used to be page 3.
Limits and caveats
- Tested limits: one file up to 100 MB and 500 pages. Rendering thumbnails of a large file takes time, but you can start reordering before it finishes.
- Drag and drop works with a mouse on desktop. On touch screens use the buttons, which also work from the keyboard.
- Password-protected or encrypted files are refused. The tool does not bypass protection.
- Bookmarks and form fields stay in the file, but page numbers printed inside the page content (such as “Page 3 of 10”) do not change.
- Saving the file again invalidates any digital signature in it. The tool warns you when it detects one.
- If a thumbnail cannot be rendered, only the page number is shown; the page can still be moved and exported.
Questions about this tool
How do I reorder pages without a mouse?
Tab to a page’s buttons and press Enter or Space. Each button has a clear name for screen readers, such as “Move page 4 one step earlier”, and focus stays on the same page after it moves.
Is page quality affected?
No. Thumbnails are for display only. On export the original pages themselves are put in the new order; they are not redrawn or recompressed.
What if I press download without changing the order?
The tool tells you the order has not changed and nothing is downloaded, because the result would be identical to your file.
How do I reorder pages in a PDF?
Choose the file, move each page with the buttons under its thumbnail or by dragging it, then press “Download in new order”. The “New order” line shows the full sequence before you download, and your original file stays as it is.
How do I move a page to the start of a PDF?
Press the move-to-start button under the page and it becomes the first page of the exported file. In a 3-page file, moving page 3 to the start gives the order 3, 1, 2.
