How it is calculated
US and UK = 28 + 2i, EU = 60 + 5i, FR = EU + 15, IT = i minus 1, AU = 6 + 2i, where i is the step from 0. Underbust range = EU band minus 2 to plus 2 cm.

Limits and caveats
- Uses the common retail chart; a few Italian brands number bands one off.
- The band alone is not the full size, since cup letters also change between systems.
