How it is calculated
Letters are matched by position. UK: AA A B C D DD E F FF G GG H HH J JJ K. US: AA A B C D DD DDD G H I J K L M N O. EU, FR and IT: AA A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O. In US sizing E means DD and F means DDD.
Example
Inputs: System = UK, Cup letter = FF. Result: US cup: H; UK cup: FF; EU and French cup: H.
Limits and caveats
- A cup letter alone is not a fixed volume; it changes with the band.
- Some US brands use DDDD or their own labels, which are not supported here.
Questions about this tool
Is a US DD the same as E?
Yes. Many US brands write DD or E for the same cup, which is an EU E and a UK DD.
What is a UK FF in US sizes?
A US H, and also an H in EU sizing.
Why does F not match across systems?
Each system places doubled letters differently, so a UK F is a US G and an EU G.
