How it is calculated
EU size = 1.5 × last length (cm), one Paris point being 2/3 cm. US child size = 3 × last length (in) − 11.75; Y sizes continue the same scale after 13.5C. Combined: US child = EU ÷ 1.27 − 11.75.

Limits and caveats
- Brands differ by half a size to a full size, so check the brand chart before you buy.
- When the result falls between two sizes, the larger one is shown.
