Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter hand circumference at knuckles (no thumb) and hand length, wrist to middle fingertip (optional).
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Glove size = hand circumference in inches, rounded (6 = 152 mm, 8 = 203 mm, 11 = 279 mm). If you give hand length, the nearest length-table size (160 to 215 mm) is found and the larger of the two is used.
Example
Inputs: Hand circumference at knuckles (no thumb) = 20.3 cm. Result: Glove size: 8; Common letter size: M; Size by circumference: 8.
Limits and caveats
- Letters XS to XXL are common maker practice, not part of the standard.
- Children's gloves and some sports brands use different charts.
Questions about this tool
How do I measure my hand?
Wrap a tape around the palm at the knuckles, thumb excluded, with the hand flat.
What if circumference and length disagree?
Take the larger size so the fingers are not squeezed; the calculator does this.
Does size 8 mean 8 inches?
Yes, roughly: size 8 matches a 203 mm hand circumference, which is 8 in.
