Questions about this tool
How do I convert FF to octal?
FF = 1111 1111 in binary. Regrouped in threes, 011 111 111 = 377.
Why are there no 8s or 9s in the result?
Octal uses only the digits 0 to 7.
Does it support fractions?
Yes. Hex 0.8 is 0.1000 in binary, and grouped in threes from the point that gives octal 0.4.
