Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter html table code and output csv delimiter.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
The first <table> is read: each <tr> is a row and each <th> or <td> a cell. Inner tags are removed, whitespace is collapsed, named and numeric entities are decoded, then the data is written with RFC 4180 rules.
Example
Inputs: Output CSV delimiter = Comma ,. Result: CSV: product,price Tea & mint,12.5 Coffee,18; Rows: 3; Columns: 2.
<table> <tr><th>product</th><th>price</th></tr> <tr><td>Tea & mint</td><td>12.5</td></tr> <tr><td>Coffee</td><td>18</td></tr> </table>
product,price Tea & mint,12.5 Coffee,18
Limits and caveats
- Merged cells (colspan and rowspan) are read as one cell, so later columns may shift.
- Only the first table is read, and nested tables inside a cell are not supported.
Questions about this tool
Does it work if closing </td> and </tr> tags are missing?
Yes. A cell ends where the next cell or row starts, as HTML allows.
Are links inside cells kept?
The link text is kept; the href address is removed with the tags.
Is my code sent to a server?
No. The conversion runs in your browser and the code never leaves your device.
