How it is calculated
EST time = PKT time - 10 hours, because EST is UTC-5 and PKT is UTC+5. If the result reaches 24:00 or more, subtract 24 hours and move to the next day; if it drops below 00:00, add 24 hours and move to the previous day.

Limits and caveats
- Fixed offsets are used: PKT = UTC+5 and EST = UTC-5, whatever the date.
- New York switches to EDT (UTC-4) from the second Sunday of March to the first Sunday of November; the tool does not apply that change.
