How it is calculated
PKT time = UTC time + 5 hours, because PKT is UTC+5 and UTC is UTC+0. If the result reaches 24:00 or more, subtract 24 hours and move to the next day; if it drops below 00:00, add 24 hours and move to the previous day.
Example
Inputs: Time in UTC = 22:00, Day in UTC (optional) = Thursday. Result: Time in PKT: 03:00; Day change: Next day (+1); Offset difference (PKT minus UTC): 5 hours.
Limits and caveats
- Fixed offsets are used: UTC = UTC+0 and PKT = UTC+5, whatever the date.

09:00 UTC is 14:00 PKT on the same day, because PKT is 5 hours ahead of UTC.
Does daylight saving time change the result?
No. UTC never changes and Pakistan does not currently use daylight saving, so the 5 hour gap between UTC and PKT holds all year.
How do I convert PKT back to UTC?
Subtract 5 hours from the PKT time. If the result falls below 00:00, add 24 hours and it is the previous day in UTC.
