I collected my WhatsApp orders into a list; how can I see which product was ordered most often?
Paste the list into the duplicate-line remover, one product per line, then open 'Lines that repeated'. It shows every product that repeated with its Occurrences, sorted from most to least repeated. It is a quick tally with no spreadsheet, as long as each product is written the same way on every line.
Turn chats into a list
From your WhatsApp Business chats, copy the product name from each order and paste it into a note, one line under another. If a customer ordered two products, put each on its own line. If they ordered three boxes of one product, remember the tool counts lines, not quantities: write the product three times if you want it counted three times, or read the count as number of orders rather than units.
A worked example
One day's orders, six lines: coffee, tea, coffee, dates, coffee, tea.
Summary: Input lines 6, Lines kept 3, Lines removed 3.
'Lines that repeated (2)': coffee, Occurrences 3, Removed 2. Then tea, Occurrences 2, Removed 1.
Dates is not in the table because it was ordered only once, but it is in the result.
So coffee is the top seller with three of the six orders. The result list itself, coffee then tea then dates, gives you every product that was ordered at least once.
Steps
- Open the Duplicate-line remover and paste the list.
- If some customers wrote English names with different capitals, untick 'Case-sensitive matching'.
- If the list has Arabic names with vowel marks or stretched letters, tick 'ignore diacritics and tatweel'.
- Open 'Lines that repeated' and read the Occurrences column.
The mistake that ruins the count
The tool matches literally, so any variation in a product name splits its count across two lines. We ran the same list with one 'coffee' typed as 'cofee', and the repeats table became coffee 2 and tea 2, with 'cofee' in the result as a separate product ordered once. Coffee lost its lead over a single letter.
- Standardize product names before pasting: 'Arabic coffee', not 'arabic cofee' or 'Arabic coffe'.
- Do not put the quantity or price on the same line: 'coffee 2' is a different line from 'coffee'.
- For Arabic names, watch أ and ا: the tool does not merge them, not even with diacritics ignored.
Limits of this method
The table lists only products that repeated, and at most the top 100. It is a line count, not sales analysis: it does not add up quantities or amounts. For a daily or weekly list of chat orders it does the job. If you want the final list in alphabetical order, sort it with the Line sorter.
Common questions
Can I copy the repeats table?
The table is for viewing; the part you copy and download is the list without repeats.
If two products tie, which comes first?
The one that appeared first in your list.
Are my orders sent to a server?
No, the counting happens inside your browser.
