Are the ID and account numbers I convert sent anywhere?

No. The digit converter works inside your browser on your own device, with a fixed offset for each digit, and your text is neither uploaded nor stored. That makes it fine for ID numbers, IBANs and customer phone lists that should not be pasted into services you know nothing about.

What actually happens to your text

When you paste, the page's own code reads the text in your browser and walks through it one character at a time. Each digit ٠ to ٩ is swapped for its counterpart 0 to 9, or the other way round, with simple arithmetic on the character code. There is no server request, no outside dictionary and no AI reading your text. The whole calculation is a set of fixed numbers known in advance.

The result appears in the text box, the copy button puts it on your device's clipboard, and the download button creates a text file straight on your device. None of that goes over the internet.

An example with a sensitive number

A made-up ID number a customer sent to register a warranty:

الهوية ١٠٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩

Converted to Western digits it becomes:

الهوية 1023456789

Ten digits were converted, and that is all that happened. The number was not written to any log, and you will not find it on the page if you close it and open it again.

How to check for yourself

  • Open the page, then disconnect from the internet, paste some text and convert it. It still works, because nothing needs a connection once the page has loaded.
  • Close the page and reopen it: the text box is empty, because the tool does not save what you pasted in the browser.
  • The site measures visits, like most sites do, but the text you type into the tool is not part of that. The privacy page has the details.

What is still up to you

The tool sends nothing, but what you do with the result afterwards is outside its control. A few practical points:

  1. The clipboard keeps the last thing you copied, and some devices sync it between phone and computer. Copy something harmless when you finish if the device is shared.
  2. A downloaded file lands in your Downloads folder. Delete it when you no longer need it, especially if it is a list of IDs or accounts.
  3. Do not paste sensitive data on a public or shared computer in the first place, in this tool or any other.

For a very long list, thousands of lines, the tool stops converting automatically above about 4,000 lines or 150,000 characters and asks you to press 'Convert'. That is not an upload; it keeps the page from freezing, and the conversion still happens on your device.

Start from the Arabic/Persian/Western digit converter whenever you need it, and paste in whatever you would rather keep on your own machine.

Common questions

Do I need to sign in?

No. There is no account and no sign-up; you open the page and use it.

Does it work the same way on a phone?

Yes. The conversion runs in the phone's browser just as it does on a computer.

Can the numbers themselves change during conversion?

No. Each digit moves to its counterpart with the same value, so the ID number stays the same number in a different form.
