How do I make a QR code that opens a ready email for returns, with the address and an Arabic subject?

Choose the Email type, enter your returns address, a subject such as 'طلب استرجاع' (return request) and a starter body like 'رقم الطلب:' (order number). The tool encodes the Arabic so it survives, and scanning opens the customer's mail app with the message ready; nothing is sent until they press send.

Why a code instead of a printed address

A customer returning a product is already a little annoyed, and typing a long email address without a mistake, then remembering what to include, does not help. A code on a card inside the parcel opens a message with the right address, a subject that makes your sorting easy, and a line reminding them of the order number. Your returns arrive with one consistent subject, so you find them quickly.

What the tool stores

With the address returns@example.com, the subject 'طلب استرجاع' and the body 'رقم الطلب: ', the tool builds a mailto link after percent-encoding the Arabic letters, which is what makes the mail app read them correctly:

mailto:returns@example.com?subject=%D8%B7%D9%84%D8%A8%20%D8%A7%D8%B3%D8%AA%D8%B1%D8%AC%D8%A7%D8%B9&body=%D8%B1%D9%82%D9%85%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B7%D9%84%D8%A8%3A%20

Encoding makes the text longer: the content is 161 bytes and the symbol 49 modules wide. The same message in English, 'Return request' and 'Order number: ', takes 77 bytes, and the bare address with no subject or body only 26. Each Arabic letter in the subject or body becomes six characters, so keep both short.

The steps

  1. Open the QR code generator and choose 'Email'.
  2. Type the recipient address. The tool rejects an address in an invalid format.
  3. Write a short, fixed subject, and put in the body what you want the customer to complete, such as the order number and the reason for return.
  4. Scan the code with your phone and check that the Arabic subject shows up readable in the mail app.
  5. Print the code on the returns card, with the address written underneath for anyone who does not scan.

Common questions

Does the code send the email for the customer?

No. The tool sends no email; the code only opens a prepared message, and sending takes a tap from the phone's owner.

Should I use the same code for exchanges and complaints?

Better to make one code per purpose with its own subject, such as 'exchange request' and 'order feedback', so you can sort messages by subject alone without opening them.

What if the customer has no mail app set up?

That depends on their phone, and nothing useful may open. That is why the address should be printed under the code, so copying it by hand stays possible.
