How do I send a customer several products on WhatsApp in one image instead of ten separate messages?

Put the product photos in a 3 column grid with a small gap and a moderate width such as 1600 px, download it as JPEG and send it as one picture. A phone screen cannot show more detail than that, the file stays light, and the customer sees every option at once instead of scrolling through a stack of messages.

Settings that work in a WhatsApp chat

  1. Open the Image collage maker maker and add the product photos, up to 12 per collage.
  2. Order them to match the price list you will type, because the tool fills the grid left to right, then the next row.
  3. Set “Columns” to 3 and the cell shape to 1:1, so every product gets the same space whatever the size of its photo.
  4. Set “Gap between images (px)” and “Outer margin (px)” to 12, with a white background if your product shots are on white.
  5. Type 1600 in “Output width (px)” and download as JPEG.
Worked example

6 products, 3 columns, a 1600 width, a 12 gap, a 12 margin and a 1:1 cell shape.

The output is 1600 × 1072 px, with each product in a cell of about 518 × 518. With 9 products and the same settings the output is 1600 × 1602.

Why 1600 and not 8000?

Your customer will look at the picture on a phone, whose screen is far narrower than 1600 px even when they pinch to zoom. A bigger width adds nothing they can see, but it makes the file heavier and slower to arrive on a weak connection. Go too small, such as 600, and each product sits in a narrow cell where a pattern or a logo gets lost. Somewhere between 1200 and 1600 is a sensible balance for three columns.

Make it easy for the customer to point

The tool does not add numbers or text to the photos, so agree on positions instead. Send a short, ordered message under the image, for example: “Top row from the left: black 120 AED, brown 135 AED, navy 120 AED.” If your customer reads Arabic, say so explicitly, because the first photo always sits at the far left and an Arabic reader may start on the right.

Choose “Contain whole image” when some products are tall, such as perfume bottles, so their caps are not cropped. With a white background and product shots on white, the customer will not even notice the space around each photo.

File size and sending quality

  • JPEG is saved at quality 92, which suits photos and is accepted by every app.
  • If the file is still heavy, shrink it with the Image compressor before sending.
  • WhatsApp may reduce the quality of photos sent the normal way. If you notice that, send the image as a document so the file arrives unchanged.
  • A different selection for each customer? Press “Reset” and start a new collage in seconds; the photos never leave your device.

Common questions

How many products should go in one picture?

Up to 12. With 12 products in 3 columns the image gets tall, so 4 columns fit better, or split the products across two pictures.

Can I use the same image as a WhatsApp status?

You can, but a status is shown tall, so a two column grid with more rows may fill the screen better. Check the dimensions shown before downloading.

Are my product photos stored anywhere?

No, the collage is made inside your browser and the photos are not uploaded to any server.
