How do I produce a tidy multi-page wholesale invoice with 120 items?
Enter the items in the invoice generator: it takes up to 200 lines on one invoice and spreads them across pages for you. The table header repeats on every page, the footer and page number sit at the bottom of each page, and the totals come once at the end. Before downloading, check the page count the tool reports.
What happens as the invoice grows
When the table fills page one, the Basic invoice generator starts a new page and prints the header row again: number, description, quantity, unit price and total. Someone reading page four on its own can still tell what each column is.
- Each line carries a running number in the first column, 1 to 120, so it is easy to refer to: 'line 87 is short'.
- The basic-template notice and a page number in the form '3 / 5' print at the foot of every page.
- Subtotal, tax, total and payment details come after the last line only.
Example: 120 phone accessory lines
A phone accessories wholesaler sells a store 120 different items, 24 pieces of each at 6.50 SAR a piece, so every line totals 156.00. The supplier entered 15 as the rate:
Each line: 24 x 6.50 = 156.00
Subtotal of 120 lines: 18,720.00 SAR
Tax (15%): 2,808.00 SAR
Total: 21,528.00 SAR
Before you start typing
Be realistic: the tool does not import lines from Excel or CSV. You add lines one by one with the 'Add item' button and type each description, quantity and price. And because it saves nothing, closing the tab halfway means starting again. So:
- Prepare the list in advance in the order you want, and copy description and price across field by field.
- Finish the invoice in one sitting, and do not close the tab before the file is downloaded.
- Keep descriptions short and distinct, such as 'Clear case iPhone 15', because long ones wrap and add pages.
- Watch the error list under the table: any problem is reported by line, such as 'Item 42, Quantity'.
After the PDF is built
The ready message states the file's page count and size, and the preview shows page one only, so open the downloaded file and page through the rest. If the buyer will check the goods item by item on arrival, send a packing list from the Packing-list generator with the shipment, without prices, and keep the invoice for accounts.
If you have more than 200 items, split them into two invoices with different numbers and note on each that it is part of the same order.
