How it is calculated

Total = price × (1 + fee %). Installment = total ÷ number of payments rounded down to the cent; the remainder goes on the last one. Dates run every 2 weeks or every month from the purchase date.

Example

Inputs: Purchase price = 800, Number of payments = 4, Time between payments = 1 month, First payment at checkout = yes, Purchase date = 2026-10-01. Result: Installment amount: 200.00; Last installment: 200.00; Total to pay: 800.00.

Limits and caveats

  • Each BNPL provider sets its own dates and fees; check its terms before buying.
  • Late fees charged for missed payments are not included.

Questions about this tool

Why is the last payment sometimes different?

When the total does not split evenly, payments are rounded to the cent and the small remainder goes on the last one.

What if I buy on the 31st?

In shorter months the payment falls on the last day, such as the 28th or 30th.

Is zero-fee BNPL really free?

If you pay on time with a zero fee you pay the same price, but missed payments can add fees.
