How it is calculated
Cells are read with CSV rules (quotes removed), then joined with tabs. A cell holding a tab, a quote or a line break is wrapped in " the way Excel does it.

Limits and caveats
- Automatic detection guesses from the text; pick the delimiter yourself if everything lands in one column.
- A quoted cell must start with " right after the delimiter, with no space before it.

Why convert CSV to TSV?
Pasting tab-separated text into Excel fills the columns directly, and commas inside text cause no trouble.
Are commas inside cells kept?
Yes. They stay as they are and need no quotes in TSV.
Can it read semicolon CSV?
Yes. Choose semicolon or leave automatic detection on.
