Questions about this tool
How do I turn 0.05 into a percentage?
Multiply by 100 to get 5%.
Why does 1.2 give 120%?
Because 1 equals 100%, so any number above 1 is more than 100%.
Is the result affected by rounding errors?
No. The decimal point is shifted on the digits you typed, so 0.07 gives exactly 7%.
