How it is calculated
Decimal = a/b + 1. American = +100 × a/b when a/b ≥ 1, otherwise −100 × b/a. Implied probability = b ÷ (a + b).
Example
Inputs: Profit (first number) = 5, Stake (second number) = 2. Result: Decimal odds: 3.5; Implied probability: 28.5714%.
Limits and caveats
- Implied probability reflects the quoted price, including the margin of whoever set it, not the true chance of the event.
- American odds are rounded to 2 decimal places.
