How it is calculated
Circled 1 to 20 are U+2460 to U+2473, 21 to 35 are U+3251 to U+325F, 36 to 50 are U+32B1 to U+32BF and zero is U+24EA. Filled circles 1 to 10 are U+2776 to U+277F and 11 to 20 are U+24EB to U+24F4. Parenthesized forms are U+2474 to U+2487 and full-stop forms U+2488 to U+249B.
Example
Inputs: Style = Circled (0 to 50). Result: Converted text: ① شراء الخبز ② دفع الفاتورة ③ حجز الموعد; Numbers converted: 3; Out-of-range numbers left as is: 0.
1 شراء الخبز 2 دفع الفاتورة 3 حجز الموعد
① شراء الخبز ② دفع الفاتورة ③ حجز الموعد
Limits and caveats
- Decimals and numbers with a leading zero such as 07 are left unchanged.
- Symbols stop at 50 for circles and 20 for the other styles, so larger numbers stay as ordinary digits.
Questions about this tool
Why are there no circled numbers above 50?
Unicode defines single circled number characters only up to 50. Anything larger needs drawing or special styling.
Do these symbols show on WhatsApp and Instagram?
Yes on most modern devices, since they are plain text characters, not images. Their look can vary a little between fonts.
Do screen readers understand them?
Most read out the number inside, but some read the full symbol name, so avoid them in content where accessibility matters.
