How it is calculated
Price per m² = price / area in m². 1 ft² = 0.09290304 m² exactly, so price per ft² = price per m² x 0.09290304.
Example
Inputs: Total price = 1,000,000, Area = 200, Area unit = Square meters. Result: Price per square meter: 5,000.00; Price per square foot: 464.52; Area in square meters: 200 m².
Limits and caveats
- Make sure both offers use the same area basis. Gross area with balconies and walls is larger than net area.
- Price per meter alone does not reflect location, finish or building age.
