Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter unix timestamp (milliseconds) and time zone (optional).
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Seconds = floor(milliseconds / 1000) and the remainder is the fraction. Date = 1970-01-01 00:00:00 UTC + seconds.
Example
Inputs: Unix timestamp (milliseconds) = 1,700,000,000,123, Time zone (optional) = Cairo (Egypt). Result: Date and time (UTC): 2023-11-14 22:13:20.123; Weekday: Tuesday.
Limits and caveats
- A 10-digit value is usually seconds, so use the Unix seconds converter for it.
- It does not show anything finer than a millisecond.
