Upside down text generator
Rotates text 180 degrees: it turns each letter and then reverses the order, so it reads correctly if you turn the phone around.

Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter text.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Each character is swapped for its turned form, such as a to ɐ (U+0250), e to ǝ (U+01DD), A to ∀ (U+2200) and ? to ¿; symmetric letters like o, s and x stay; then the whole text is reversed.
Example
Result: Styled text: ¡ollǝH; Characters changed: 2.
Hello!
¡ollǝH
Limits and caveats
- The result uses Unicode phonetic and math symbols, so screen readers read it as gibberish and search will not match it.
- B D J Q have no turned capital, so they use the turned small letter; digits 1 4 5 7 and Arabic letters stay as typed.
Questions about this tool
Why is the letter order reversed too?
Rotating a page 180 degrees turns each letter and puts the last letter first, so the tool does both.
Can Arabic text be flipped?
No. Unicode has no turned Arabic letters, so Arabic keeps its shape while its order is reversed.
How do I turn it back?
Paste the flipped text into the tool again; most letters return because the swap works both ways, except letters with no turned form.
