Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.

How to use it

  1. Enter text, words to show and minimum word length.
  2. The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
  3. Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.

How it is calculated

Each word is normalised (lower case, no harakat or tatweel) and counted. Share = word count ÷ total words × 100. Ties are ordered by first appearance.

Example

Inputs: Words to show = 20, Minimum word length = 1 letters. Result: Most frequent word: القهوة; Its count: 4; Words counted: 24.

Limits and caveats

  • Common function words such as «في» or "the" tend to top the list; raise the minimum length to hide them.
  • Different forms of a word, such as «كتاب» and «الكتاب», are counted separately.

Questions about this tool

How do I hide short words like "in" and "of"?

Set the minimum word length to 3 or 4 letters and shorter words drop out of the count and the table.

Are Apple and apple counted together?

Yes. Latin words are lower-cased before counting, so they count as one word.

How is this different from the keyword density checker?

This tool ranks every word by frequency. The density checker measures one keyword or phrase that you choose.
