Is the text I convert sent to a server or stored on the site?
No. The text case converter runs inside your browser using the case rules your browser already has, so your text is never uploaded to a server or stored on the site. You can paste customer names or product copy you have not published yet without it leaving your device.
How conversion works without a server
Turning a small letter into a capital does not need heavy computing or a remote database. Every modern browser knows that a pairs with A, that the German ß upper-cases to SS, and that the Turkish i becomes İ with a dot. The tool asks your browser to apply those rules to your text and shows the result in the box beside it.
That is also why the «Locale for the case rules» setting relies on your browser: choose Turkish and the browser applies Turkish rules directly. None of it passes through a server.
Sensitive text sellers actually convert
- Customer names from an orders file, turned from capitals into normal names before printing shipping labels.
- An email list before it goes into a marketing tool.
- Copy for a new product or an unannounced offer, with English headings adjusted before launch day.
- Discount codes that are not public yet, made uniform in capitals.
In every case the text stays in the open browser tab. For instance, a line like «عميل: Sara Al-Otaibi, 0500000000» in upper case becomes «عميل: SARA AL-OTAIBI, 0500000000»: only 9 Latin letters change, the Arabic word and the number stay as they are, and all of it happens on your device.
What is kept and what is not
- The text you paste and the result are not saved anywhere. Close the tab and they are gone.
- Copy puts the result on your own clipboard only.
- Download has the browser create a text file named converted-case.txt directly on your device, without a server in between.
- No account, no sign-in, no history of earlier texts.
How to check for yourself
- Open the Text case converter and let the page finish loading.
- Disconnect your device from the internet.
- Paste some test text and change the target case: the result updates instantly with no connection.
A tool that sends your text away to process it would not work offline. If you know your browser's developer tools, the Network tab shows no request when you change the case or press «Convert».
The limits of the promise
The tool neither stores nor sends your text, but it has no control over what happens after you copy the result. Paste it into a shared document or a group chat and it is subject to that place's privacy. On a computer others use, press «Clear» and close the tab when you finish, and delete the downloaded file if you no longer need it.
Common questions
Is there a size limit?
The tool was tested with 100,000 lines, about 2.5 MB. With large texts automatic conversion stops and you press «Convert» yourself; the processing still stays on your device.
Are the Arabic letters in my text changed?
No. Arabic has no case, so it passes through exactly as it was, vowel marks included.
