I have 80 product photos; how do I give all of them the exact same watermark?

In three rounds: 30, then 30, then 20. The tool takes up to 30 images at a time and applies the settings on screen at the moment you press 'Download all (ZIP)'. After each round press 'Reset', which only empties the list: your text or logo, size and position all stay, and you pick the next batch.

Why only 30 at a time?

Every photo is drawn at full resolution inside your browser and never uploaded to a server. That protects your photos, but it means your device's memory does the work. The 30 image limit keeps things stable on a phone or an ordinary laptop. If you select all 80 at once, the tool adds the first 30 only and shows a message that the limit was exceeded, so it is easier to split them yourself from the start.

The rounds, step by step

  1. Put the photos in one folder and split them into three groups: 1 to 30, 31 to 60 and 61 to 80.
  2. Open the Image watermark editor tool, choose the first group, set up the mark and check it on several photos with the 'Preview' button.
  3. Press 'Download all (ZIP)' and wait for the progress bar to finish.
  4. Press 'Reset': it empties the photo list only; your settings stay.
  5. Choose the second group, glance at the preview, and download. Repeat for the last group.

File names after unzipping

Every photo keeps its original name with watermarked added at the end, so it never gets mixed up with the original, and the rounds do not collide when you unzip all three archives into one folder.

Worked example

abaya-01.jpg becomes abaya-01-watermarked.jpg.

A phone photo IMG_2041.JPEG becomes IMG_2041-watermarked.jpg; JPEG files always get the jpg extension.

80 photos = 30 + 30 + 20, so three ZIP files, all named watermarked-images.zip; your browser will usually add a number to the second and third so they do not overwrite the first.

Watch for one case: two files with the same name from different folders will also come out with the same name, and one may overwrite the other when you unzip. Rename one of them before you start.

Tips that save you a redo

  • Size and margin are shares of the width, so the mark looks consistent even if photo sizes differ between rounds.
  • Do not change settings mid-download. The tool takes the settings at the moment you press, but it is clearer to let the round finish.
  • If some photos are portrait and others landscape, grouping each kind in its own round makes the position easier to check.
  • Open a few photos from each ZIP before uploading to your store; a quick check is cheaper than redoing 80 photos.

Common questions

Does the uploaded logo survive a reset?

Yes. Reset empties the photo list only; the logo and settings stay.

Can I download the photos one by one instead of a ZIP?

Yes, each photo in the list has its own download button. The ZIP is quicker when there are many.

Does the quality differ between rounds?

No. Every photo is saved in its original format: JPEG and WebP at quality 92, PNG lossless.
