How to use it
- Enter text.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Capitals become U+1D538 plus position, small letters U+1D552 plus position and digits U+1D7D8 plus value, except C H N P Q R Z, which use ℂ ℍ ℕ ℙ ℚ ℝ ℤ.
Example
Result: Styled text: ℕ𝕐 𝟙𝟘; Characters changed: 4.
NY 10
ℕ𝕐 𝟙𝟘
Limits and caveats
- These are Unicode math symbols, not a font: screen readers may read them as symbol names or skip them, and in-app search may not match them.
- Only Latin letters A to Z change (and digits where the style has them); Arabic letters and accented letters such as é stay as typed.
Questions about this tool
Where is this style used in math?
For number sets: ℕ natural, ℤ integers, ℚ rationals, ℝ reals and ℂ complex numbers.
Why do some letters come from another block?
ℂ ℍ ℕ ℙ ℚ ℝ ℤ were encoded early because they are common, so their slots in the math block were left empty.
Do digits change too?
Yes, this style has double-struck digits 0 to 9.
