How to use it
- Enter birth date (gregorian) and gregorian year.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
The birth date is converted to Umm al-Qura (Hijri day and month), then every day in the chosen Gregorian year with the same Hijri day and month is found. If the month has 29 days and the birthday is day 30, day 29 is used.
Example
Inputs: Birth date (Gregorian) = 2000-01-01, Gregorian year = 2,026. Result: Hijri birthday: Friday, 13 March 2026 (2026-03-13); Hijri age on that day: 27; Times in this year: 1.
Limits and caveats
- Uses Umm al-Qura for the years 1883 to 2173.
- For a day-30 birthday, day 29 is used in years when that month is short.
