How it is calculated
Parse with JSON.parse and check it is an array. Strings are written as is without quotes, numbers, booleans and null as text, and nested objects or arrays with JSON.stringify.

Limits and caveats
- A string containing \n shows on more than one line.
- Only a single top-level array is accepted.
Questions about this tool
What if the array is inside an object?
Copy just the array from [ to its matching ], since the tool expects a top-level array.
Are the quotes removed?
Yes. Strings are written without quotes, with escapes like \" and \u0627 decoded.
How are objects shown?
Each object is written as compact JSON on its own line.
