Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter kebab-case names (one per line or inside text).
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Each kebab-case name is split into words at the hyphens, and at any capital that follows a lowercase letter. Every word then starts with a capital and the rest of it is lowercase, with no separator. Symbols and spaces around the names are left as they are. Example: user-card becomes UserCard.
Example
Result: PascalCase result: UserCard NavBarItem DatePicker; Names processed: 3.
user-card nav-bar-item date-picker
UserCard NavBarItem DatePicker
Limits and caveats
- Every word in the pasted text is converted, including keywords and library names, so review the result before pasting it into code.
- Arabic and other scripts without capital letters lose their word breaks in this style, so the words run together.
Questions about this tool
When do I need this conversion?
When importing a component from a file called date-picker.vue or user-card.jsx, since the component is named DatePicker or UserCard in code.
Are file extensions converted too?
Yes, every word in the text is converted, so date-picker.vue becomes DatePicker.Vue; paste the names without the extension.
What about an acronym such as api in a file name?
It becomes Api because the tool cannot know it is an acronym; change it to API by hand if your project uses that style.
