How it is calculated
Split the text at every line break, trim each item and drop blank lines if selected, then join the items with the chosen separator.

Limits and caveats
- Items that already contain a comma are not quoted; use the list to CSV row tool for that.

How do I turn an Excel column into a comma separated list?

Can I use the Arabic comma?
Yes. Pick "Arabic comma and space" to get output like «الرياض، جدة».
What about blank lines?
They are skipped by default so you do not get doubled separators, and you can turn that off.
