Questions about this tool

Is the output CommonMark compatible?

For the supported elements it matches CommonMark in most cases, but the tool implements a documented subset listed in the formula.

How do I write a code block?

Put ``` on a line before the code and another after it. You can add the language after the first fence, like ```js.

Is the HTML safe to paste?

Special characters in the text are escaped, but link URLs pass through as written, so check them if the text is from an untrusted source.
