Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter text or numbers.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Every character from U+06F0 to U+06F9 is replaced by its Western digit: the value is the character code minus U+06F0. The rest of the text is left unchanged.
Example
Result: Converted text: شماره 09123456789; Digits converted: 11.
شماره ۰۹۱۲۳۴۵۶۷۸۹
شماره 09123456789
Limits and caveats
- It converts the Persian block U+06F0 to U+06F9 only. Eastern Arabic digits have their own tool.
Questions about this tool
How can I tell Persian digits from Arabic ones?
The 4 and the 6 look clearly different. If a digit is not converted here, it is most likely from the Eastern Arabic block.
Does it work with Urdu digits?
Yes. Urdu digits are the same Unicode characters even when a Nastaliq font draws them differently.
Are the Persian letters changed?
No. Only digits and the two Arabic number separators are touched.
