How it is calculated
TB = Tbit × 0.125
Multiply the value in terabits by 0.125 to get terabytes.
Example
To convert 25 Tbit to terabytes: 25 × 0.125 = 3.125 TB.

Questions about this tool
How many terabytes are in one terabit?
1 Tbit = 0.125 TB exactly.
How do I convert terabits to terabytes?
Use TB = Tbit × 0.125. For example, 25 Tbit = 3.125 TB.
How many terabits are in one terabyte?
1 TB = 8 Tbit.
Why does a 1 TB drive show about 931 GB on my computer?
Drive makers count 1 TB as 10^12 bytes, while Windows divides by 2^30 and labels the result GB even though it is really GiB. So 10^12 ÷ 1,073,741,824 gives about 931.32, and no space is missing.
What is the difference between a kilobyte and a kibibyte?
A kilobyte (kB) is a decimal unit of 1000 bytes and a kibibyte (KiB) is a binary unit of 1024 bytes. The same split applies to mega and mebi, giga and gibi, and the gap grows at each step.
