How to use it
- Enter appliance power, hours per day, quantity, days in month and price per kwh.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Daily kWh = watts × hours × quantity ÷ 1000. Monthly = daily × days in month. Yearly = daily × 365.
Example
Inputs: Appliance power = 1,000 W, Hours per day = 5, Quantity = 1, Days in month = 30, Price per kWh = 0.18 per kWh. Result: Monthly cost: 27.00; Daily energy: 5 kWh; Monthly energy: 150 kWh.
Limits and caveats
- Label wattage is usually the maximum; fridges and ACs do not draw it all the time.
- It uses one flat price per kWh with no tiers or VAT.
