How to use it
- Enter text typed in arabic letters and treat «لا» as the b key.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Arabic 101 in reverse: ا=h, ب=f, ت=j, م=l, ث=e, خ=o, ن=k. «لا» is read as the b key when the option is on, otherwise as g then h.
Example
Inputs: Treat «لا» as the b key = yes. Result: English text: hello world; Characters converted: 10.
اثممخ صخقمي
hello world
Limits and caveats
- «لا» can come from the b key or from g then h, so check words that contain it.
- Latin symbols already in the text are left unchanged.
Questions about this tool
Can I recover a password with it?
Yes, if it was typed on the Arabic layout instead of English. The conversion stays in your browser.
Why did I get gh instead of b?
The «لا» option was off. Turn it on to read «لا» as the b key.
What about capital letters?
Characters that need Shift on the Arabic layout, such as أ, إ and آ, turn into H, Y and N.
