Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter text and output order.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
A letter joins the one before it if that letter joins on both sides, and joins the next one if it itself joins on both sides. Form = isolated, final (+1), initial (+2) or medial (+3) from the letter's code in the U+FE80 block. ل + ا → ﻻ (U+FEFB).
Example
Inputs: Output order = Normal order (apps that handle right-to-left). Result: Shaped text: ﻣﺮﺣﺒﺎ ﺑﻜﻢ; Letters shaped: 8.
مرحبا بكم
ﻣﺮﺣﺒﺎ ﺑﻜﻢ
Limits and caveats
- Reversed mode flips each whole line; sentences mixed with English may need manual ordering.
- Supported Persian letters are پ, چ, ژ, ک, گ and ی; others are left unshaped.
Questions about this tool
When do I need this?
When an app, game engine or old display shows Arabic letters separated or backwards because it does not apply joining rules.
Which option should I pick?
Try normal order first. If the words are joined but backwards, switch to reversed.
Can the output be searched?
Not reliably, since it uses presentation forms. Keep the original, or use the presentation forms converter to restore it.
