How to use it

How it is calculated
For each line: add gives tax = amount × rate ÷ 100, and remove gives amount before tax = amount ÷ (1 + rate ÷ 100). Totals are the sums of the lines.
Example
Inputs: Calculation = Add VAT to the amount, VAT rate = 15 %. Result: Total including VAT: 459.99; Total before VAT: 399.99; Total VAT: 60.00.
Limits and caveats
- The default 15% is the Saudi standard rate, so change it for your country or item.
- Table values are rounded to 2 decimals while totals use unrounded values, so the table sum can differ by one cent.
Questions about this tool
How do I enter the amounts?
Put one amount on each line. Arabic or Western digits and thousands commas are fine, and blank lines are ignored.
Can I paste a column from Excel?
Yes. Copy the column of amounts and paste it, and each cell becomes a line.
Why does the table sum differ slightly from the totals?
Each table line is rounded to 2 decimals, while the totals add the exact values before rounding.
