How to use it
- Enter decimal value.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Seconds = fraction × 86,400, rounded to the nearest second, then split into hours, minutes and seconds. The whole part is the count of full days.
Example
Inputs: Decimal value = 0.75. Result: Time HH:MM:SS: 18:00:00; 12-hour time: 6:00:00 PM; Whole days: 0.
Limits and caveats
- The result is rounded to the nearest second, so a value very close to 1 becomes 00:00:00 on the next day.
- The whole part is shown as a count of days, not converted to a calendar date.
