Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.
How to use it
- Enter ticks value and time zone (optional).
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Ticks = 100-nanosecond intervals since 0001-01-01 00:00:00. Unix seconds = (ticks - 621355968000000000) / 10000000.
Example
Inputs: Ticks value = 639264096000000000, Time zone (optional) = Dubai (UAE). Result: Date and time (UTC): 2026-10-01 00:00:00; Weekday: Thursday.
639264096000000000
2026-10-01 00:00:00
Limits and caveats
- Ticks carry no time zone; the result assumes UTC, as from DateTime.UtcNow. Values from DateTime.Now are the machine's local time.
- The largest accepted value is DateTime.MaxValue.Ticks = 3155378975999999999.
