How it is calculated
Contributory wage = basic + housing, capped at 45,000. Saudi: employee = wage × (annuities + SANED), employer = wage × (annuities + SANED + occupational hazards). Non-Saudi: the employer pays occupational hazards only.
Example
Inputs: Nationality = Saudi, Basic salary = 12,000 SAR, Housing allowance = 3,000 SAR, Annuities rate for each side = 9 %, SANED rate for each side = 0.75 %. Result: Employee share per month: 1,462.50 SAR; Employer share per month: 1,762.50 SAR; Total monthly contribution: 3,225.00 SAR.
Limits and caveats
- Defaults are for existing subscribers (9% annuities each side). People first registered from 3 July 2024 have a rising rate, so enter yours.
- It does not apply the minimum contributory wage or add commissions that count as wage.
