How to use it
- Enter morse code.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
The message is split into words at / or two spaces, then into letters at each space, and each pattern is matched against the ITU-R M.1677-1 table.
Example
Result: Text: SOS HELLO; Characters decoded: 8; Codes not recognised: None.
... --- ... / .... . .-.. .-.. ---

- Procedure signs such as SK and AR come out as plain letters or as unknown codes.
Questions about this tool
How do I separate words?
Put /, | or two spaces between words and a single space between letters.
What does ? in the result mean?
The pattern in that spot is not in the ITU table. The pattern itself is shown in the list of codes not recognised.
Can it decode Arabic Morse?
No, this uses the Latin table. For Arabic messages use the Arabic Morse decoder, since the same patterns stand for other letters.
