How it is calculated
Weighted percentage = (high school × its weight + Qudurat × its weight + Tahsili × its weight) ÷ 100, with weights adding to 100.
Example
Inputs: High school percentage = 95 %, Qudurat score = 80 %, Tahsili score = 85 %, High school weight = 30 %, Qudurat weight = 30 %. Result: Weighted percentage: 86.5%; High school share: 28.5; Qudurat share: 24.
Limits and caveats
- 30/30/40 is common for science majors; other majors and universities may use different weights, so check the admission guide.
- The weighted percentage is used to rank applicants and does not guarantee admission.
Questions about this tool
What are the usual weights?
Many science majors use 30% high school, 30% Qudurat and 40% Tahsili; some other majors use only high school and Qudurat.
How do I calculate it when Tahsili is not required?
Set the Tahsili weight to zero and split 100 between high school and Qudurat as the university states, such as 50 and 50.
Is the Qudurat score out of 100?
Yes. Qudurat and Tahsili results are reported out of 100, so enter them as they are.
