How it is calculated
Percentage = points earned ÷ points possible × 100.
Example
Inputs: Points earned = 42, Points possible = 50. Result: Percentage: 84%; Letter grade (US scale): B; Points missed: 8.
Limits and caveats
- Extra credit above the full mark is not supported.
