Processing and privacy: The result is calculated inside your browser and your data is not sent to any server.

How to use it

  1. Enter total wedding budget, number of guests, venue and catering, attire and beauty, photo and video and decor and flowers.
  2. The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
  3. Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.

How it is calculated

Item amount = budget × item % ÷ 100. Cost per guest = budget ÷ guests. Unallocated = 100 - sum of percentages.

Example

Inputs: Total wedding budget = 100,000, Number of guests = 200, Venue and catering = 45 %, Attire and beauty = 10 %, Photo and video = 10 %. Result: Cost per guest: 500.00; Venue and catering: 45,000.00; Attire and beauty: 10,000.00.

Limits and caveats

  • The suggested percentages are a planning starting point, not survey or market averages.
  • It covers the celebration only, not the mahr, gold, home setup or honeymoon.

Questions about this tool

Do I have to use the suggested split?

No, it is only a starting template. Change any percentage to fit your priorities; any share left over shows as unallocated.

Why keep a contingency?

Extra costs are common at big events, such as more guests than planned or last-minute changes.

What is the cost per guest good for?

Compare it with venues that price per head, or trim the guest list if it is higher than you want.
