How to use it
- Enter conversions wanted, expected conversion rate, expected cost per click and campaign length in days.
- The result appears straight away and updates as you edit.
- Copy the result, or copy a link that keeps the same values to share it.
How it is calculated
Clicks needed = conversions ÷ (conversion rate ÷ 100). Budget = clicks × CPC. Daily = budget ÷ days. Expected CPA = CPC ÷ (conversion rate ÷ 100).
Example
Inputs: Conversions wanted = 100, Expected conversion rate = 2.5 %, Expected cost per click = 1.2, Campaign length in days = 30. Result: Total budget: 4,800.00; Daily budget: 160.00; Clicks needed: 4,000.
Limits and caveats
- An estimate that assumes CPC and conversion rate stay fixed; both move with competition and higher spend.
- Ad platforms may spend more or less than the daily budget on a given day.
Questions about this tool
Where do I get conversion rate and CPC?
From past campaigns if you have them. If not, run a small test budget for a week or two, then recalculate with real numbers.
Will this budget hit the goal exactly?
It is an estimate. Daily results swing, so leave a margin and review after the first week.
How do I get the budget straight from CPA?
Multiply the conversions you want by your target CPA. The tool shows the CPA implied by your CPC and conversion rate so you can sanity-check it.
