Questions about this tool
Is commission paid on sales before or after VAT?
Most agreements use sales before VAT, so enter the net amount unless your contract says otherwise.
Can I calculate commission on profit instead?
Yes. If your commission is a share of profit, enter the gross profit in the sales field.
How do I find the rate from a known commission?
Divide commission by sales and multiply by 100. 900 on 12000 of sales is 7.5%.
