My catalog has one page per product. How do I break it up so I can send each WhatsApp Business customer just the product they asked about?

Choose “Every page separately” to get one PDF per product in a ZIP, then unpack it and name each file after its product, and you have a ready library to attach from in any chat. If you only need a handful of products, type their pages in “One PDF per range” instead.

Why one product page beats the whole catalog

A customer asking on WhatsApp about a particular perfume or size does not want to scroll through 24 pages to find it. Sending the full catalog clutters the chat and buries their question. One page with the product's details and price answers them directly and stays in the chat for them to come back to.

Build the page library once

  1. Open Split PDF and choose the catalog. Say it has 24 pages, one product each.
  2. Choose “Every page separately”. In this mode you do not type any numbers.
  3. Press “Split and download” to get catalog-split.zip with 24 files, catalog-page-01.pdf to catalog-page-24.pdf.
  4. Unpack it into a folder on your phone or computer, and rename each file after its product, such as royal-oud-perfume.pdf.
  5. Keep the folder somewhere you can reach quickly from the phone you use for WhatsApp Business.

If you only need a few products

There is no need to split the whole catalog if today you only need the three products on promotion. Choose “One PDF per range” and type their pages separated by commas.

Worked example

catalog.pdf has 24 pages, and the products you need are on pages 3, 7 and 15.

Typing 3, 7, 15 in “One PDF per range” gives three files: catalog-page-3.pdf, catalog-page-7.pdf and catalog-page-15.pdf.

“Every page separately” would give all 24 files at once.

PDF or picture in the chat?

A PDF keeps text sharp when zoomed and prints well, but in WhatsApp it arrives as an attachment the customer has to open. If you want them to see the product right in the conversation without opening anything, turn the page into an image with PDF to images. Plenty of sellers send both: a picture to catch the eye, and the PDF for anyone who wants the details.

Keep the library current

  • When prices change, export the catalog again, split it again and replace all the old files, so you never send an outdated price by mistake.
  • Put the catalog date in the folder name, such as September catalog, so you know which version you have.
  • If a product spans two pages, type its full range, such as 7-8, in “One PDF per range” instead of separating every page.

Common questions

Can I send the files from my computer?

Yes, from WhatsApp Web or the desktop app. Just keep the folder on the device you send from.

Are my product pages uploaded while splitting?

No. Splitting happens inside your browser on your device.
