Questions about this tool
How much is 50 an hour per year?
At 40 hours a week for 52 weeks it is 104,000 a year, about 8,667 a month.
Why not multiply weekly pay by 4 for a month?
A year has 52 weeks, about 4.33 per month. Working out the annual figure first and dividing by 12 gives the true monthly average.
What do I enter for weeks if I take unpaid leave?
Subtract the unpaid weeks from 52. Paid leave stays in, because you are paid for it.
